OmniShave Butter is very unique and was made to address all the things I thought shaving lubricants should provide:

  1. It is thick so it won't run when first squeezed out.
  2. It is thin when rubbed so it spreads easily, and will wash off easily without the use of a detergent or soap.
  3. It starts out white so you can see how much you've applied, then when rubbed it turns clearer.
  4. It stays slippery throughout your shave.
  5. You don't need more than 2 inch squeezed stripe of OmniShave Butter because you aren't rinsing during your shave (which typically washes away lubrication before your shave is finished) so a little OmniShave Butter lasts until the end of your shave.
  6. It is actually a moisturizer, so wiping it off after your shave and leaving the soaked in residue is a good thing to do...you don't need to rinse it off if you choose to leave its residue on your scalp to continue moisturizing. Or you can also wash it off and then re-rub in a dab for more moisturizing throughout the day.
  7. It has Tea Tree, Aloe, and Shea Butter, so it's soothing and has anti-inflammatory benefits.

You will smell a cleanser fragrance which is the natural scent of Tea Tree.

Just wet the area you are about to shave, apply OmniShave Butter and rub it in.

The shaving gel is no good for me will not buy again but the razors totally different story they are great

Dear Gregory, you didn't provide reasons why our Shave Butter didn't work for you but we'd like to offer a suggestion that might improve your results. For best performance, always remember to pre-moistened the skin with water before applying our Shave Butter. When rubbing our Shave Butter on to dry skin, it is only a fraction as slippery as when applied to pre-hydrated skin. Please let us know if this suggestion helps -Kindest Regards, John Harris OmniShave Inventor.

Shave Butter is the Best!

While I like the Omni Shaver, I like the Shave Butter even more. I don't use the shaver every time I shave my head, sometimes I use my regular multiblade razor instead. However no matter which razor I use, I always use the Shave Butter. It's supper slick, not greasy and it allows you to see though to the skin that you're shaving, which shaving cream does not.

I only wish that there was a 3 OZ size so that I could take it with me when I travel.

Ouch! Shave Butter No Good!

I bought a kit from the OmniShaver Store off Amazon which included the Ominishave razor, some blades, two holders and a tube of shave butter. I think the Shave Butter did not hold up during shipping. The tube was so hot I could barely unwrap it. I'd been using HeadSlick prior and it works fine. However, the Shave Butter comes out of the tube with the consistency of Barbasol at the end of the can. It has absolutely no lubrication. My scalp is so scraped and red after the fourth use I decided I simply must find something else, anything else. Shame too, for I love the razor and plan to continue using it.

Dear Jerry,

Given the statements above, your complains about the butter are perplexing.

You wrote '...the tube was so hot I could barely unwrap it.' The OmniShave Shave Butter tube could only be at room temperature unless it was intentionally heated.

As for the '...the Shave Butter comes out of the tube with the consistency of Barbasol at the end of the can' OmniShave Shave Butter has nothing in common with Barbasol. Its not a foam, its a cream. Its not in a pressurized can, its in a squeeze tube.

Kindest Regards,
John Harris
