How to use it
- Wet the area and rub in a small amount of OmniShave Butter.
- Use short, firm, straight strokes. As with the full-size shaver, never move it sideways across the skin.
- Work in three or four strokes per area rather than going over the same spot repeatedly.
- Rinse it under hot water afterwards and let it dry head down.
The one rule that matters most: move the shaver forward and back, never sideways across the skin. Sideways movement is the cause of nearly every nick people report.

How is this different from the Disposable Classic Touch-Up?
This one takes replacement cartridges and is built to keep. The Disposable Classic Touch-Up is cheaper up front and gets replaced as a whole unit when the blades dull.
Can it replace a full-size shaver?
No, and it would take a long time to try. The head is deliberately small. It is a finishing tool that works alongside the full-size shaver.
Is it safe around the bikini line?
That is one of the areas it was designed for. Get the skin properly slippery first, keep the strokes short and straight, and never move it sideways across the skin.

Blade Longevity

My top goal is to make sure all people trying OmniShaver enjoy their shaving experience so please allow me to help.
FYI: OmniShaver's blades are US made and are very high quality. No one can answer how long any manufacturer's blade edges will stay sharp because sharpness depends on many factors like thickness of hair, the coarseness of hair, amount of hair, length of stubble being cut and lubrication being used...Having said all that I can confidently say that if OmniShaver's suggestions from its instruction sheet are followed, its blade edges will stay sharp longer than all other shavers. If OmniShaver's blades are tugging, or not shaving well after only a few shaves, then it's because not enough deliberate downward pressure is being applied, or it's because the blades are clogged with debris.
Most other shavers require replacement blades after about a week's worth of shaves, so getting a month's worth of use from your OmniShaver is usually considered by most to be a good value.
***The following is what we write on our website about how long your OmniShaver should last:
'Although individual experiences may vary, OmniShaver feels that if properly maintained and used, our shaver will provide at least twice the number of shaves other shavers or razors can provide.'
I need to be careful about how I make my recommendations because it might sound like I'm suggesting you did something wrong (which I don't believe you did). OmniShaver has a learning curve because it's like using no other shaver, so please allow me to thoughtfully share some advice that I think will be helpful...
#1- The MOST important OmniShaver use recommendation by far is applying deliberate downward bi-directional stroking pressure. This is the main reason why sharp blades can feel dull and tug hair...Here is a short instructional video that will explain how to get the best shaving results from your OmniShaver. #2- Please look closely at your blades to see if they look like brand new. If cleaned well after each use your OmniShaver will look and function great. If there is a film on the blades or on the chrome shaving head, or if you can see any other shaving debris that hasn't been completely removed from your cleaning attempts, then the blades will not be able to self clean, self sharpen or shave well at all. All I need is something for around my ears, and the double blade set up on a rigid head/handle coupled with my lack of finesse is scary. I absolutely love Omnishaver for the dome, but I'm sticking with my old Atra cartridge for the touch ups.

I just now for the first time shaved my head with omni shaver. I had to take out the cartridges then clean them with a tooth brush. Hair was piled badly behind all 10 blades. Yes,I went back,& forth through the whole shave. After I cleaned it I finished the shave,& all went good. I love the butter. It made my head feel good,& my hands as well. I spent $68 after a discount,& that was supposed to be with 30% off so the expense was brutal. Hopefully the price will come down soon. The replacement blades are currently as I type this $17 for 4 heads. I will still have to buy dollar general brand blades to get the smoothness I desire,& their blades clean easier,but the product is new,so I understand somewhat on what I complain about will be different later. It also should get better the more I use it.Good product,4 out of 5 stars.My head does look good. Keep up the good work. I will be looking for new products to be invented for face soon.
