Most people who try to shave their own back fail at one of two points: the first shave, where a daily razor clogs on long hair, or the lubrication, where you cannot reach the middle of your own back. This kit is built around both of those problems.

How a back shave goes
- Take the long hair down with the Initial Back-Razor, working in sections and rinsing it out as it fills.
- Fit the Lotion Spreader and lay OmniShave Butter over the whole area.
- Take the spreader off, switch to the Maintenance Back-Razor and shave the remaining stubble for a close finish.
- From then on, the Maintenance razor alone keeps it smooth. Rinse it out and stand it in the dock afterwards.
The one rule that matters most: move the shaver forward and back, never sideways across the skin. Sideways movement is the cause of nearly every nick people report.

Common questions
Do I really need both razors?
For a first shave, yes. Long hair clogs a maintenance razor within a few strokes. Once the back is down to stubble, the Maintenance razor is the only one you will pick up.
Can I reach the middle of my own back?
That is what the reach and the lotion spreader are designed around. It is the part people assume is impossible and it is the part the kit solves.
Can I use the heads anywhere else?
Yes. They detach, and they work well on arms, shoulders and chest.

Shipping. Free standard shipping in the United States on orders over 60 dollars, including P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Self-Stropping Blades
‘Stropping’ is the final stage in sharpening and maintaining blades, and ours are designed to strop against the skin on your scalp and body. As you stroke your shaver back and forth, the blades are essentially polishing themselves against the surface of your skin, leaving them straighter and sharper with every shave. When properly cared for, washed, and dried, these blades should last up to twice as long when compared to typical razor blades.

Blade Longevity
OmniShaver blades outlast other blade edges because they self-straighten and polish (or “strop”) during use. Most razors require blades to be replaced after one week of shaves, so expect at least two weeks of shaves from OmniShaver blades, which offers great value.
